Gas-fired poultry house heating with a closed combustion system
A comfortable climate helps chicks grow in the right conditions. The Winterwarm DXC and DXE gas-fired warm air heaters feature a closed combustion system. Combustion gases are discharged outside, preventing the heaters from adding moisture and CO₂ to the poultry house. This helps keep the litter drier and reduces the need for ventilation.
By reducing the amount of cold outside air that needs to be heated, energy consumption for heating the poultry house can be kept to a minimum. Their low noise levels also make working inside the poultry house more pleasant. The DXC is installed inside the poultry house and is available in 60, 80 and 100 kW versions. The DXE is installed outside, against the poultry house wall, allowing maintenance to be carried out without entering the house.
Electric poultry house heating
The Winterwarm DX-EH is a 40 kW electric warm air heater designed for poultry houses. As no combustion takes place, the heater does not release CO₂ or water vapour into the poultry house. It operates quietly and can be controlled via a poultry house management computer.
The DX-EH can also be combined with gas-fired DXC warm air heaters. Whether electric heating is suitable for your poultry farm depends on the heat demand and the available electrical capacity.
