Winterwarm expands production capacity with Prima Power Night Train FMS

At Winterwarm, we continue to invest in innovation, quality and future-ready manufacturing. That is why a new automated production line from Prima Power is currently being installed: the Night Train FMS®.

This expansion increases our production capacity and further strengthens the automation of our sheet metal production. The system enables an efficient material flow between different processing stations and supports flexible, continuous production. This not only creates additional capacity, but also improves stability and predictability within our production processes.

The decision to invest in the Night Train reflects our ambition to keep developing as a modern manufacturing company. At the same time, it contributes to a working environment where technology, innovation and craftsmanship come together.

Over the coming months, we will continue to share updates on the installation and commissioning of this new production line. Follow Winterwarm for the latest developments.

June 2026 – Installation completed, focus on software and training

The installation of the Prima Power Night Train FMS® has been completed. All machines and systems are now in place and connected. This marks an important milestone in the expansion of our production capacity.

The coming weeks will focus on software configuration and testing. Step by step, the various parts of the system are being aligned to ensure the production line operates reliably and efficiently once it goes into full operation.

Internal training sessions have also started. Employees are learning how to work with the new machines, software and processes, ensuring that our teams are well prepared for commissioning.

This video shows the final stages of the installation and provides an impression of how the new Night Train FMS® has become part of our production facility in Winterswijk.

May 2026 – Installation work underway

Behind the scenes, work is progressing steadily on the installation of the new production line. Engineers from Prima Power are working closely together with our own technical team to carefully assemble and integrate every part of the system.

One of the most impressive milestones so far has been the installation of the system’s 6.30-metre-high columns. A highly precise operation that was completed according to schedule, while our production activities continued as normal.

The first test products have already been produced and the Night Train is scheduled to become operational this summer.

April 2026 – The Night Train arrives

Together with Prima Power, the first phase of the project officially started with the arrival of the Night Train at Winterwarm.

It was a significant moment that immediately demonstrated the scale of this new automated production line. Over the coming period, the system will be assembled step by step and integrated into our production environment.

With this investment, we are preparing for further growth and creating smarter, more efficient production processes.
