DATALUX line lighting for Lidl’s warehouse in Genk

Together with landlord WDP, Lidl wanted to reduce electricity consumption at its warehouse in Genk. WDP’s facilities management team worked with Luminaid to develop a new lighting solution. The existing lighting was fully replaced with DATALUX line lighting, resulting in lower electricity consumption and improved lighting quality.

Upgrading lighting in an existing warehouse

Lidl’s commitment to more sustainable operations prompted the retailer to review its warehouse lighting. Together with WDP, Lidl opted to replace the old lighting throughout the warehouse.

Luminaid’s project team developed the solution in collaboration with WDP’s facilities management team, selecting energy-efficient DATALUX line lighting.

Lower consumption and better lighting

Following the replacement, electricity consumption at the warehouse was significantly reduced. Lighting quality also improved for employees. The upgrade combines energy savings with a better-lit working environment.
