Ferme du Corbeau chooses heaters installed outside the poultry house for easy maintenance

In Liernu, Belgium, Ferme du Corbeau has expanded with a new 2,000 m² poultry house. For consistent and reliable heating, the customer, together with installation partner Agrister, chose four Winterwarm DXE heaters.

Ferme du Corbeau was originally mainly involved in cattle farming. In 2018, the farm expanded into goat farming, and poultry farming has since been added to its activities. For the new poultry house for broiler chickens, a reliable heating solution was an important requirement.

The four DXE heaters ensure a constant temperature in the poultry house. This is essential for the birds’ welfare and growth. As the units are installed outside the poultry house, they are easily accessible for maintenance. This allows technicians to carry out maintenance work without entering the poultry house, helping to avoid unnecessary stress for the birds. No air circulation fans are required either.

This fits with Agrister’s vision of making buildings operate as efficiently and sustainably as possible while keeping energy losses to a minimum.
