NEXTGEN line lighting for Peute Group’s new premises

Peute Group relocated to new premises on the Nedstaal industrial site in Alblasserdam. Bink Techniek and Luminaid jointly developed a NEXTGEN lighting system for the international paper and plastics recycler. The line lighting is connected to the central emergency lighting supply and controlled via DALI-2.

New premises for paper and plastics recycling

Since its foundation in 1960, Peute Group has grown from a local business into an international paper and plastics recycler. The move to Alblasserdam provided a new location for its recycling operations.

Building services consultant Valstar Simonis developed the sustainable building services design. Developer Dudok and contractor De Vries & Verburg were responsible for construction. Bink Techniek delivered the building services installations, including central emergency lighting and an intelligent lighting control system.

NEXTGEN configured for central emergency lighting

Connecting the line lighting to the central emergency lighting supply required a suitable luminaire configuration. Bink Techniek worked with Luminaid’s engineers to develop a NEXTGEN system that met these requirements.

Addressable control units were incorporated into the luminaires during assembly, ensuring compatibility with the building’s central emergency lighting installation. The NEXTGEN system can accommodate various commercially available addressable units.

Lighting control via DALI-2

The entire lighting system is controlled via DALI-2. Both everyday lighting control and connection to the central emergency supply were therefore incorporated into the luminaire configuration. Coordinating these requirements during the design stage ensured that the supplied NEXTGEN system matched the building’s technical installation.

Products used
