Radiant heaters differ from warm air heaters in that they warm surfaces (in the same way that direct sunlight feels warm on bare skin). In this way, the building infrastructure warms up, heating the environment indirectly. This approach is more tolerant of heat loss through high levels of air changes or leakage of heat, typically found in older buildings or ones with frequent opening of large doors e.g. garage workshops. There are various options available:
- Linear & Double-Linear Radiant Heaters
- U-tube Radiant Heaters
- Herring bone Radiant Heater Systems
